Kauai real estate stats for August 2023 vs August 2022

The August 2023 and August 2022 monthly comparison reveals that the number of Kauai home sales in August 2023 decreased by 55% compared to August 2022 home sales. August 2023 Kauai land sales increased by 60% compared to August 2022 land sales. August 2023 Kauai condo sales decreased by 45% compared to August 2022 condo sales.    The increase in land sales are  primarily attributed  to the release of 24 half acre luxury parcels, Pakela ‘Ike,  in  the  Hokuala collection, part of  Timber’s Kauai  in the Lihue district.

Kauai real property sales for August 2023 are reflected in the graph above. 19 Kauai residential homes, 16 vacant Kauai land properties, and 24 Kauai condos were sold on the island of Kauai, totaling 59 transactions, for the month of August 2023. The Kapaa district led sales with 16 transactions, followed by Lihue and Hanalei with 15 transactions each, followed by Koloa with 12 transactions, followed by  Waimea with 1 transaction.
