The year-end comparison between 2023 and 2024 shows a 25% increase in Kauai real estate home sales in 2024 compared to the previous year. Land sales on Kauai saw a modest rise of 8% in 2024 compared to 2023. However, Kauai condo sales in 2024 experienced a slight decline of 1% compared to 2023. Overall, the total number of properties sold on Kauai in 2024 remained relatively stable when compared to 2023.
Kauai real estate sales for the year ended 2024 are reflected in the graph above. 358 Kauai residential homes, 119 vacant Kauai land properties, and 290 Kauai condos were sold on the island of Kauai, totaling 767 transactions, for the year 2023. The Koloa district led sales with 242 transactions, followed by Kapaa with 197 transactions, followed by Hanalei with 164 transactions, followed by Lihue with 125, followed by Waimea with 39 transactions.
