The August 2023 and August 2024 monthly Kauai real estate comparison reveals that the number of Kauai home sales in August 2024 increased by 115.79% compared to August 2023 home sales. August 2024 Kauai land sales decreased by 62.50% compared to August 2023 land sales. August 2024 Kauai condo sales decreased by 12.5% compared to August 2023 condo sales. Like July, data reveals that despite high interest rates; desirability and limited inventory for Kauai homes made it a seller’s market.

The Koloa district led sales with 25 transactions, followed by Kapaa with 23 transactions, followed by Hanalei with 10 transactions, followed by Lihue with 7 transactions and Waimea districts with 3 transactions.
