Kauai Real Estate stats for June 2022

Kauai real property sales for June 2022 are reflected in the graph above. 41 Kauai residential homes, 7 vacant Kauai land properties, and 43 Kauai condos were sold on the island of Kauai, totaling 91 transactions, for the month of June 2022. The Koloa district led sales with 38 transactions,  followed by Hanalei with 20 transactions, followed by Lihue with 17 transactions,  followed by Kapaa with 15 transactions,   and Waimea with 1 transaction.

June 2022 and June 2021 monthly comparison reveals that the number of  Kauai home sales in June 2022 decreased by 51.76% compared to June 2021 home sales. June 2022 Kauai land sales decreased by 53.33% compared to June 2021 land sales. June 2022 Kauai condo sales decreased by 37.68% compared to June 2021 condo sales.

Statistics show that it continues to be a seller’s market for Kauai properties, despite the increase in mortgage rates due to the lack of inventory.     June 2022 median prices island-wide increased by 41% for residential properties, 19% for vacant land and 24% for condos as compared to June 2021 prices.
