Tim became a real estate agent in 2006 and a broker in 2013. His early years of real estate were spent working as a sales executive for Poipu developments such as; Kukui'ula, Wainani and Koloa Landing. Currently, he is in general brokerage with Elite Pacific Properties. Tim enjoys a fun or competitive game of golf, an evening stand-up-paddle boarding session at Poipu Beach and going on cruises with his wife. He and his wife Lynn, were married in 1984 and have 2 grown sons, a daughter-in-law and a grandson. In thanksgiving for their 25th. anniversary in 2009, Tim and Lynn host a marriage relationship building dvd series called "Love and Respect" as a free service for the Kauai community. Tim and his wife are active members of Kauai Bible Church in Omao. In 1991, Tim recorded a CD, "Hele On To Kauai". Tim also served in the Air Force and the Air National Guard.
